  18. It seems that you understand a sum of the total.

  20. There are actually several problems here that are
  21. far beyond what we can talk about here that relate
  22. to both technology and business.  The technology is
  23. unique to the Amiga market.  Nothing like it exisits.

  25. How can I say that?  The Gecko is a spin off from the
  26. PAWS development.  It possess the ability to drive
  27. an LCD panel as well as a VGA display.  No one, in
  28. the Amiga market has a product like it.

  30. The answer to what we are supporting is beyond simple
  31. SECAM, NTSC, and VGA.  and what do you mean, users
  32. configuring this device?  Its external not internal.
  33. Do you mean having a small potentiometer (sorry about 
  34. the spelling) to adjust the device?

  36. The obvious answer to will someone utilize a dinky 13"
  37. monitor with the Gecko is probably no.  Most users who
  38. want increased performance and high level graphics are
  39. adding to their computers monitors which are generally
  40. 17" or greater.  Some flat screen 15" monitors are nice too.

  42. If you are utilizing a Amiga tucked away on campus with
  43. very little room and don't seem to have the cash now.  All
  44. I can say is save up : )

  46. Hopefully we will be around if you ever want a unit.  As
  47. for costs of the unit I would say, without being crass, that
  48. there is a difference in what you know and what reality is.
  49. In the real world building peripherals for a narrow market
  50. is extremely difficult.  If you cannot understand that from
  51. a business perspective then we will have to agree to disagree.
